JSO looking for suspect who committed lewd act on girl at Walmart | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a man suspected of committing a lewd act on a girl at Walmart.

The Sheriff's Office said the victim, a 13-year-old girl, was with her mother at the Walmart located at 11900 Atlantic Blvd. Tuesday evening. The girl decided to stay in one area of the store while her mother continued shopping in a different section.

According to police, the suspect walked up to the victim and committed the lewd act.

The suspect then fled the area on foot.

Police said they are looking for a white man with short, dark hair who is in his mid-30s.
