Wells Fargo Offers Help to Struggling Homeowners | News
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of the nation's biggest banks, Wells Fargo, is trying to save its customers from mortgage foreclosure.
It has identified 5,000 Wells Fargo customers in the south Georgia and North Florida areas who are struggling to make mortgage payments.
From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, the bank is holding a home preservation workshop at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
Customers are being encouraged to bring all of their financial records and be ready to receive a decision on a work-out, loan modification or other options to their mortgage problems.
Anyone with a Wells Fargo or Wachovia Morgage can register by Monday for an appointment, or they can just go to the event Nov. 2 and 3.
