JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Some new video games were on display for gamers to test out today at the Avenues Mall.

Several of the highlights included the new Nintendo 3DS gaming system and the new iPad gyroscopic technology for the latest racing games. "It's pretty spaceage," said Ryan Jones, who works at the Gamestop on the Westside.

Jones said it's all a part of a nationwide tour to give players of all ages a chance to demo some of the coolest technology -  for free.

"It's a way to get first hand experience and that's how you get people interested in games," Jones said.

The next stop is a pretty good drive, all the way to Lawrenceville, Ga.
