Brooks Rehabilitation invites you to join us as we Celebrate Independence on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm. This FREE event will feature insightful speakers, exciting demonstrations, exhibits, health screenings, and refreshments.  Our keynote speaker will be Jim Abbott, the famed one-handed Major League Baseball player who overcame the birth defect of having only one hand to become an amazing professional pitcher and ball player.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Florida Chapter announced in November open registration for Walk MS 2012, the rallying point of the MS movement. Walk MS takes place every Spring in several locations in the North Florida area. This year, MS Awareness Week will enhance MS awareness during Walk MS season.

Instead, come skate off the food and kick-start your New Year’s resolution to live a healthy lifestyle at Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex’s Annual Christmas Day and New Year’s Family Skates.

Both skating events are open to the public. The Christmas Day Family Skate is on Sunday, Dec. 25 from 7:00-9:30 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes skate rental, hot cocoa and a holiday cookie.

The New Year’s Family Skate is on Sunday, Jan.1 from 7:00-9:30 p.m.  Admission is $10 and includes skate rental. The Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex is located at 3605 Philips Highway.
