Men Charged for Breaking into Local Middle School | Crime
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Four Jacksonville men were arrested today after allegedly breaking into Twin Lakes Middle School on Point Meadows Drive.
According to the arrest report, an officer was dispatched to the school after several silent alarms went off inside the building.
When Jacksonville Sheriff’s deputies arrived, 19-year-old Tyler Martin, 19-year-old Leo Lourcey, 20-year-old Ethan Green and 20-year-old Daniel Cherry were seen exiting the school.
Lourcey, Green and Cherry heeded the officer’s commands to stop, however the report alleges Martin continued fleeing on foot and was later apprehended by a JSO K9 officer and dog. Martin was reported to have resisted the dog and struck the animal.
Martin and Lourcey have pending charges for resisting arrest and burglary, Martin also has a charge pending for battery.
Martin also received a minor laceration to his right upper leg and his injuries were checked out.
