JACKSONVILLE- Fla. -- Jacksonville police arrested a Walmart shopper after store clerks noticed he took food, started eating it while shopping and never paid for it.
Henry Legg, 45, of Albany, Ga., was arrested on Sunday at the store on Philips Highway.
Store clerks told police they followed Legg around the store and that he took food items and alcoholic beverages, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report.
The report says Legg took a cup of corn nuggets, a cup of chicken fried rice, a 6-pack of Mike's hard beer and a 4-pack of strawberry wine coolers.
Legg walked around the store eating and drinking the items, they said. They also told police that Legg opened packages of forks, cups, small honey mustard packets and a bottle of soy sauce, and used it on the food he was eating.
