In the years that followed, many of the Steps ignored the conventional wisdom (“Don’t quit your day job!”), and although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience.

Alhambra to Open Patsy Cline Show on New Year's Eve!

On the heels of sell-out performances nationwide, one of the hottest stage shows in the country returns to the Alhambra Theatre & Dining – and opens on New Year’s Eve  -- with Americas favorite Patsy Cline tribute show, “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline” starring Gail Bliss.   Independent recording artist, songwriter, musician and actress, Gail Bliss returns to the Alhambra as Patsy Cline.  Chosen from over 600 hopefuls in 1994 to originate the role of Patsy in the initial touring production of “A Closer Walk,” Gail has made a name for herself all over North America for her work in this role.  “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline” is estate approved - one of only two select productions to be sanctioned by the Patsy Cline Estate managed by Charlie Dick, Patsy Cline's husband.  Dick said of Patsy, “she’s the best I’ve ever seen.”
